is it possible Support for C/C++ ,if i have set this project run on my local ubuntu 22.04 #361
At the moment, Algorithm Visualizer does not natively support C/C++.
The visualization engine is tightly coupled with JavaScript-based execution and tracers, so adding C/C++ support would require significant architectural changes (such as integrating a compiler, runtime, and execution tracing layer).
Running the project locally on Ubuntu 22.04 does not change this limitation, since the core visualization pipeline is language-specific.
If the goal is to visualize C/C++ algorithms, possible alternatives would be:
Using external debuggers like gdb with step-by-step tracing
Converting the algorithm logic into JavaScript/Python for visualization purposes
Building a custom tracer layer that translates C/C++ execution into the existing visualization format
Thanks for raising the question and for your interest in the project.
