When building scijava ops on an ARM64 system (Raspberry Pi 4) I get the following maven build error:
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal on project scijava-ops-flim: Could not resolve dependencies forproject org.scijava:scijava-ops-flim:jar:0-SNAPSHOT: The following artifacts could not be resolved: flimlib:flimlib:jar:natives-linux_arm64:2.1.1 (absent): flimlib:flimlib:jar:natives-linux_arm64:2.1.1 was not foundin https://maven.scijava.org/content/groups/public during a previous attempt. This failure was cached in the local repository and resolution is not reattempted until the update interval of scijava.public has elapsed or updates are forced -> [Help 1]
I can successfully build scijava ops when I skip the scijava-ops-flim module with:
mvn clean install -pl '!scijava-ops-flim'
When searching the nexus for flimlib I see that a flimlib-2.2.1-natives-osx_arm64.jar exists but none for linux_arm64. Can we get a flimib arm64 build? I think this is a relatively low priority issue, but as more ARM computers become common place this will be an issue.
See also flimlib/flimlib#60. @elevans flimlib is not the only project in Fiji that relies on native binaries not available for linux-arm64. Perhaps we should start a blanket issue in fiji/fiji to track what's needed here?
@gselzer Oops, yea you're totally right! Thanks @ctrueden for the extra info! I think a blanket issue in fiji/fiji makes sense. I like your second suggestion to paddyroddy:
if you're willing, I could make you a deploy account on maven.scijava.org and you could deploy them yourself using mvn deploy:deploy-file.
I don't see why I can't do what Mark did and compile and deploy linux-arm64 packages to maven.

@elevans naively, is this not an issue for flimlib? Should we file this issue upstream?
